This policy explains what personal data I collect through katparnell.co.uk, why I collect it, and the rights you have over it. "I", "me" and "my" refer to Kat Parnell. "You" refers to anyone using the site or contacting me through it.
Who is responsible for your data

What I collect
Information you give me. When you submit a coaching application, a sponsorship enquiry, or join a waitlist, I collect the details you enter, which may include your name, email address, country, social handles, training background, goals and any message you send.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, this site may collect limited technical data such as your device type, browser, approximate location and how you use the pages, through cookies and similar technologies. See the Cookie Policy for detail.
How I use it
- To respond to your coaching application or sponsorship enquiry.
- To deliver coaching, programming or other services you request.
- To send you updates, waitlist news or product drops you have asked to receive.
- To process and fulfil shop orders through my print-on-demand partner.
- To understand how the site is used and to improve it.
Legal bases
I process your data on one or more of these bases: your consent (for marketing emails and non-essential cookies), the performance of a contract (to deliver a service you have signed up for), and my legitimate interests (to respond to enquiries and run the site securely). You can withdraw consent at any time.
Who I share it with
I do not sell your personal data. I share it only with trusted service providers who help me run the site and services, including email and form tools, website hosting, analytics, and my print-on-demand shop provider. These providers process data on my instructions and under their own data-protection obligations.
Third-party content
Some pages embed content from Instagram and YouTube. When this content loads or you interact with it, those platforms may set their own cookies and receive data under their own privacy policies, which I do not control.
How long I keep it
I keep your data only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, to meet legal obligations, or to resolve disputes. Enquiry and application details are kept while we are in contact and for a reasonable period afterwards, then deleted or anonymised.
Your rights
Under UK data-protection law you have the right to access your data, to correct it, to have it erased, to restrict or object to its use, and to data portability. If you are unhappy with how I handle your data, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Security
I take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so I cannot guarantee absolute security, but I work to protect your information and review my processes.
Children
This site and its services are intended for adults. I do not knowingly collect data from children. Where coaching involves a young athlete, I deal with a parent or guardian.

I may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above shows the latest version. Significant changes will be made clear on this page.
